Congratulations.
You’ve decided to follow through on a great idea you have. You’re already farther along than most.
We’re here to help.
Not everyone spends their life on the web like we do, and we understand that. If you’re new at this, send us an email. We’d love to join you on your journey. To give you an idea, it’ll go a little something like this:
Choose an identity
We all have one. What makes yours special?
You need something that explains who you are and/or what you do. This can be any combination of a name, phrase, slogan, etc. Take your time. You want to create something that will last. And we’ll help you make sure something like this doesn’t happen.
Acquire URLs & other web properties
Be proud of what you’re creating. Show it off in as many places as possible.
First off, buy the domain name (youridea.com). But don’t stop there. There are custom URLs you can reserve on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr — all for free, with a simple registration. You might not utilize all of these services right away, but could you imagine someone typing @excapekreative to reply to us on Twitter because @escapecreative was already taken?
Communicate. Get organized. And sync.
Lose the file cabinets & access everything in the palm of your hand.
Here we’re talking about an email address, calendar, contacts and sharing documents online — and then syncing it all with your phone. You might not need, or even want, all of these services, and that’s OK. At the very least, you need an email address. And no. That gmail account with your nickname and birthday attached at the end — that won’t work.
Write, design & build a website
Your website is an interactive chance at a great first impression.
Aha. This is where it gets fun. Think about what purpose you want your site to serve. What kind of viewers are you targeting? How will it communicate your personality and style? We’ll walk you through all of these questions, but be prepared to participate. We take the information you give us — we organize it, design it, build it, publish it — and create an online experience for your customers to share your passion. Get involved in your community
Strength in numbers. Take advantage of it.
Yes, volunteering is great too. But you need to create a social community. This can be accomplished on any number of social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, SlideShare), as well as your own company blog. The whole idea — getting your target audience to engage with you. In meaningful discussion. Learn more about our creative services »
Tell the world your story
You know it’s important. Isn’t it time they know?
This is where all the hard work pays off, and you watch your idea come to life. You’ve created a solid identity, and you’ve set up ways for your audience to engage with you. Here’s where we create the interaction. It could be through search engines, a contest you run on Twitter, or an email marketing campaign. We generate interest and then watch you turn that interest into repeated sales. Learn more about our ongoing improvements »
Ready? Let’s do this.
